Pastor Chris Estay was born and raised in Southern California in the San Fernando Valley. He had aspirations to become a mechanical engineer but those plans changed the summer after his high school graduation when he heard God’s call to ministry during a summer literature evangelism program.

He went on to receive a bachelor’s in business and theology at La Sierra University. In 2007, Pastor Chris was hired by the Northern California Conference where he has served as a pastor for the last 17 years.  In 2013 Pastor Chris earned a master’s of divinity degree from Andrews University in Michigan and was ordained to the gospel ministry in 2014. Since July 2023 Pastor Chris has been serving as the pastor of the Vallejo Central Seventh-day Adventist Church and absolutely loves his church family!

Part of Pastor Chris' passion for ministry is to help churches get healthy and balanced in order to equip them to share the good news about Jesus' love to the entire world. He also is passionate about evangelism in various forms and loves doing personal Bible studies. He has personally prepared and baptized more than 90 people in his ministry. 

Pastor Chris and his wife Erdal were married in 2005 and are the proud parents of their two beautiful children Gabriel and Liana. In his spare time Pastor Chris enjoys boxing,  playing sports, exercising, playing music, traveling, making YouTube videos, working on projects around the house and spending time with family and friends.
